A Coffee Exfoliating Soap Your Skin Will Love
Exfoliation is a necessary part of any skincare routine, and it helps remove dead skin cells while cleaning away dirt and oils. However, if exfoliation isn’t done correctly, it can harm your skin more than it helps.
Because they rely on harsh chemicals, industrial mechanic soaps strip away the skin’s natural oils and healthy bacteria. In our view, that’s too high of a price to pay for clean hands!
Introducing Clean Hands, Our Exfoliating Mechanic Soap
We believe that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice healthy skin to have clean hands. Fortunately, there’s a way to have both! We formulated our Clean Hands soap for friends and family who enjoyed fishing and working on cars — two activities that often leave your hands dirty and with an unpleasant smell. They wanted a naturally exfoliating soap that was tough on grime but easy on their skin and the environment. Creating this product was a labor of love, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the result! Here’s how we did it…
Clean Hands: A Soap for Gardeners, Mechanics, Painters, Chefs, and More!
The first step in creating our mechanic soap was to source natural ingredients that are proven to remove dirt and grime, and ingredients that can remove unpleasant odors from the skin’s surface. Coffee beans are great for exfoliation and odor removal, and we added finely ground walnut shells and pumice to add to the effects. Essential oils — including 10x concentrated Valencia Orange — cut through and neutralize odors, offering a light, refreshing scent without mica, synthetic fragrances, or dyes.
A Hard-Working Soap that Leaves Skin Soft
While removing dirt and unwanted odors was most important to us, we also wanted to ensure that Clean Hands kept skin healthy and soft. Natural oils keep the skin moisturized and free from cracks or tears that can cause discomfort. For our coffee exfoliating soap, we found that a combination of fair trade, all-natural oils including olive oil, coconut oil, sustainable palm oil, sweet almond oil, red palm kernel oil, castor seed oil, and shea butter left hands feeling soft and smooth without any heavy residue.
Using Our Coffee Exfoliating Soap
Reach for our mechanic soap after any work that leaves your hands dirty or smelly! First, run soap underwater and create a lather. Using a nail brush may help remove dirt or oils around the nail bed. Next, rinse your hands, and follow up with a luxurious moisturizer. Finally, to protect the soap bar, allow it to drain on a soap saver pad to keep it dry between uses.
Clean Hands also makes for a thoughtful gift! If you’ve been searching for an effective soap for gardeners, artists, cooks, or “hands-on” enthusiasts, you can rest assured that our 100% vegan, all-natural soap gets the job done while looking attractive next to the sink.
